Yatagala Temple is the closest to us ( 2.6 km) and is a lovely one to visit. Peaceful and calm, it is a 2,000 year old rock temple surrounded by rice paddy fields and panoramic views. You climb the warm granite steps leaving your shoes at the bottom and you may ring the bell at the top with your prayer if you wish.

Known as The Japanese Peace Pagoda, only 20 minutes away by Tuk Tuk. Up on Rumassala Hill near Jungle Beach. An immense and tranquil temple built and lived in by Japanese monks.
